THE  FRIDAY  STORY
ROBERT KENNEDY

The unlikely story of a lowly student who somehow persuaded Bobby Kennedy to speak at the University of Cape Town in 1966. RFK, who was cold-shouldered by state structures due to his anti Apartheid stance, responded with an unorthodox, but inspirational itinerary in which he mixed directly with the peoples of South Africa. His speech at UCT (The "Ripples of Hope")  is regarded as his finest ever.
